6 April to 4 August – Off the Wall – World of Wearable Art Up Close

Off the Wall is a tribute to the joy and energy of World of WearableArt™. In Off the Wall you’ll see anything from 20,664 plastic collar stays to twelve leather suitcases, from recycled wool sacks to wood, corrugated iron to kitchen utensils or taxidermied birds to sumptuous silks.

5 July to 7 July – Dunkley’s Great NZ Craft Show

For those who make crafts and those who just love to buy them – Dunkleys’ Great New Zealand Craft Show is returning to a town near you, so mark your calendar now.

5 July – Zeal’s Mid-Winter Night Craft Market

It’s back again! Zeal Hamilton are braving those cold winter nights to bring you some crafty goodness! There will be live music and hot beverages along with an array of fine crafted goods! Looking forward to seeing you all there!

24 July – Chill in the Park

Chill in the Park is a free community event which celebrates winter by having a range of fun activities including 6 tonnes of snow imported by a huge truck from Auckland.

  • Admission: Gold coin donation. Food will be on sale.

Saturdays [5-11pm] – Hamilton Night Market

Fantastic family friendly night markets with over 100 stalls to enjoy; including fashion, delicious food from all around the world, fun, live music, magicians and much more.

Sundays [8am-12pm] – Hamilton Farmers Market

At the River Road car park, 204 River Road every Sunday morning from 8am to 12 noon. Each market has plenty of free parking, EFTPOS facilities, pooch parking and amenities. Just bring your shopping basket and call your friends to meet you there! Each market is abundant with fresh fruits, veggies and more – get there early to avoid missing out!
